02Our Story · 紹介

Now on Elizabeth Street in North Hobart, Three Japanese cooks the way an izakaya should — skewers over white charcoal, hot pots that simmer at the table, and the day's catch sliced clean and simple. Pour a Tasmanian wine or warm sake, settle in, and let the kitchen take it from there.

Kushiyaki

Classic Japanese skewers grilled over white charcoal — smoke, salt and a little char. Priced by the stick, made for ordering "just one more".

Sukiyaki

Thin-sliced beef simmered tableside in sweet soy and dashi — a slow, warming ritual best shared.

Tempura

Featherlight batter over seafood and garden vegetables, served with a kombu and bonito infused broth.

Sashimi

The day's freshest catch, sliced clean and simple — fresh, local, and gone by close.

05The Pour · 酒
Japanese sake,
Tasmanian wine.

Warm sake and crisp Japanese lagers next to natural Tasmanian wines — poured the way the kitchen cooks: honest and unhurried.
